Who would have thought that death would be such big business for a lifelong performer such as Michael Jackson! It has been only four months since his death, but Michael has out earned the likes of Elvis Presley and John Legend.  Want to know how much he made?

Well according to Forbes.com and their list of top earning dead celebrities , since his death, Michael has racked up over $90 million dollars.  This income is largely attributed to millions earned from album sales, radio airplay and music video marathons in the weeks following his death.

Michael was only beaten out by fashion icon Yves Saint Laurent who made a whopping $350 million and the combined income of Broadway composer/producers Rodgers & Hammerstein with $235 million. Rounding out the top 5 was entertainer Elvis Presley earning $55 million and author J.R.R. Tolken $50 million.

Michael still has some earnings to grab this year with his This is It movie and album out now!  Preliminary reports suggest the numbers will be huge!
