Where else but in America does being the roommate to someone pays off in billions! Talk about winning the dorm pool on roommates, Dustin Moskovitz is the world’s youngest billionaire, all because he got stuck rooming with Mark Zuckerburg at Harvard.

Everyone knows Mark Zuckerburg as the founder of Facebook, but less people know of the other founding players.  Moskovitz is one rich college drop out!

What makes Moskovitz the world’s youngest billionaire is he is 8 days junior to Zuckerburg.   Moskowitz was the third employee of Facebook, way back when it was called www.thefacebook.com.

The two, along with Eduardo Saverin and Chris Hughes dropped out of Harvard and moved to California to work for the social networking firm full time; he was its first chief technology officer and then vice president of engineering.

What makes Moskovitz the world’s youngest billionaire is his 6 percent share in Facebook, estimated to be worth $3.5 billion and climbing.

Moskovitz left Facebook in 2008 and started Asana with Justin Rosenstein (above right), a software application designed to improve the way people collaborate in groups and manage projects.  When you are worth billions you can go and do what you want.

Asana organizes work flow within a news-feed like layout and shared with many of the products created by former employees at Facebook the attempt to address social interaction online.

Asana is powered by Luna, a JavaScript-based web framework developed by the company.
